It’s unfortunate but true—many garage and gutter projects in Charlotte Metro don’t go according to plan.

Bad communication. Broken deadlines. Details slipping through the cracks. In this industry, these aren’t anomalies. They’re par for the course.

The reason why is simple: Many companies lack an actual process.

It takes proper planning, protocols, and procedures to pull off high-quality results. That’s why we’ve developed a start-to-finish process that dots every “i” and crosses every “t.” Without exception.

Our process keeps your project sailing smoothly from one phase to the next… while eliminating typical headaches and hassles along the way.

Here’s a look at our process so you can see exactly how.

Phase #1: Initial Contact

When you call during business hours, you won’t get annoying automated menus. You won’t get sent voicemail. A living, breathing (and friendly!) human being will actually answer your call. 

This person is a Presto Customer Representative. They’ll ask you a few basic questions about your needs, answer your questions, and schedule a suitable time for your Presto Design Consultation.

If you prefer, you can even book your consultation online. Our convenient online scheduling tool lets you choose the time and date for your appointment. You can even select your Design Consultant! 

Phase #2: Presto Design Consultation™

We go into deep detail about this phase on our Presto Design Consultation page, so we’ll keep things brief here.

On the day of your appointment, your Design Consultant will show up on time in a branded vehicle and uniform. No beat-up pickup truck. No ripped jeans. No stained t-shirts. We are not that kind of garage and gutter contractor. 

During your consultation, your Consultant will help you create the perfect project for your needs, tastes, and budget. If you need a new garage door, we can even show you how it will look on your home with our state-of-the-art project visualizer

As you go through the product selection process, your Consultant prices out your project in real-time with our digital pricing tool. You’ll get a concrete quote on your perfect project—and know exactly where every dollar of your money is going.

Phase #3: Product Ordering

Once you’ve signed the contract, we go back to the office and order the materials. 

While your order is processing, you’ll receive regular emails updates about the status of your project. You’ll know when your materials are ordered, when they arrive, and when your installation will occur. We keep you in the loop every step of the way.

When your materials come in, they go through Two-Factor Verification. Our Operations Manager reviews your product order to make sure we’ve received ALL the correct products. Our ownership then performs a final evaluation to verify your order is 100% correct.

Phase #4: Installation

It’s not uncommon for garage and gutter companies to arrive HOURS late on installation day. Many won’t notify you of delays, leaving you to worry if the installers will even show up.  

We’re sticklers for sticking to schedule. When we set a time for your installation, that’s when we’ll be there—period. 

For your peace of mind, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software provides you with GPS-tracking capability. Using your smartphone, you can see exactly where our installers are and directly text message them!

During the actual installation, our in-house craftsmen work with precision, efficiency, and dedication. They take the time to ensure every last detail is right. And they do so while showing the utmost respect for you and your home.

Phase #5: Final Walkthrough

Once we’ve completed your installation, we perform a final walkthrough with you. We make sure you’re 100% satisfied with the work. Then we review your warranties so you understand how your project is protected. 

If we installed a new garage door or opener, we show you how to operate it and answer any questions you may have. We don’t leave until we know you’re 100% satisfied with everything.
